RESINBAU · INJECTION SYSTEMS
Two-component polyurethane system for railway ballast reinforcement and non-cohesive soil consolidation. Moisture changes its behaviour: in dry substrates it bonds without foaming; in moist substrates reaction accelerates with limited expansion.
For ballast bonding, transition zones and sand or gravel consolidation under a design.
Two-component polyurethane for railway ballast bonding and consolidation of non-cohesive soils such as sand and gravel. In dry substrates it spreads without foaming and bonds aggregate; water contact accelerates reaction and causes limited expansion.
For surface and deep ballast bonding, transition zones at bridge abutments and culverts, embankment reinforcement and soil consolidation beneath foundations. Account for substrate moisture when planning the process.
Ballast stabilisation uses a 2K pump at 1:1 with a spray or spout lance. The resin bonds aggregate at contact points while retaining the drainage described in the sheet. Soil consolidation uses injection lances and a 2K pump with a 3K head and PI-Cleaner flushing channel.
Clean equipment with PI-Cleaner and preserve with PI-Saver after work. Keep containers tightly closed and protected from moisture and sunlight. The sheet gives a shelf life of 6 months.
