The hydrophilic polyurethane resin reacts with water to create a flexible connection. It is intended for wet cracks, joints between concrete slabs, sewer pipes and expansion joints, and for restricting active leaks in underground structures. Water availability and temperature affect the reaction.
Assess the structure before injection and remove loose material and contaminants that reduce adhesion. Prepare boreholes and surface crack closure, clear holes with compressed air or water, and install packers.
The sheet describes application with a 1K pump and a water-fed 2K method for dry cracks. Select the delivery method for the water conditions. Inject from the lowest point through successive adjacent packers, adjusting pressure to the crack. Material, ambient and substrate temperatures must be above +5°C.
Clean equipment with PI-Cleaner after application and during breaks exceeding 15 minutes, then preserve with PI-Saver. Store dry at +10°C to +30°C. Shelf life: 12 months from production in original, unopened packaging.
